Welcome!

Welcome to my art blog, this will be a space for me to share what I’ve been up to with my art. This year I’ve been taking the time to work on some of the backend aspects of being an artist, like my website, portfolio, and coming up with a plan for where I’d like to take my art, so this has really been an exciting and creative time for myself.

Please take some time to explore my website, I have videos and virtual art shows that I’ve produced myself with a lot of great inspirational information about art and my process. In the last few years my art has been driven by meaning, specially related to being in touch with our inner self, awareness of ourselves and the masks we wear in front of other people. This has really been the theme of my art and in those video I speak a lot about that, which is something I plan on continue producing.

I have two galleries, one for my watercolors, which I’ve been producing since 2014, and include themes of Florida art, fan art, gay art, and portraits. My style is colorful and bright, I like to let things splatter and drip, I believe it’s important to give the media some room and freedom to behave however it wants to. In a similar matter, my other gallery is for me “Redefined Masquerade” and it’s a series of masks I built out of repurposed materials I’ve gathers over time. I manipulated these materials to make a series of really creative wearable masks, while maintaining the integrity of the material or object so that it shows in the final product.

I have a YouTube channel where I will be posting more videos, which you’ll also be able to find in this section, but I would greatly appreciate it if you subscribed to my YouTube channel and stayed in touch with what I’m up to. I’ve learned a lot in the past couple of years and lately I’ve felt a responsibility to contribute and share myself to the world, and this YouTube channel will be the best way to have access to all this information. I appreciate you taking the time to come visit me and look forward to hearing from you and sharing more of myself and my art with you. Thank you!
